Brantford Airport Board

THAT Report 2023-727 titled, “December 2023 Real Estate and Facilities Report” BE RECEIVED. 2 5.1.1 Real Estate Update Ray Petro, Manager of Real Estate, provided a real estate update to the Board and responded to questions. 5.1.2 Facilities Update Kimberly Wyskiel, Manager of Facilities provided a facilities update to the Board and responded to questions. Michael Bradley, Commissioner of Community Development provided an update to the Board regarding T-hangars RFP. 4 submissions were received and the review is in process. There is a meeting scheduled Thursday to finalized the results. Construction will likely commence in the spring. 5.1.3 Airport Management Update Shawn Broughton, General Manager, Brantford Flying Club provided an airport management update to the Board and responded to questions. Helicopters - Airport Management of Ontario were contacted for thoughts and their contact information was shared with City staff. All airport equipment has been winterized. Staff are working to expand the airports customs hours. Ray Petro advised that a legal specialist has been retained. The lawyer will be providing a memo to the board in January with options.
