THAT all Items for Consideration and Consent (5.1-6.3) separated for discussion purposes BE APPROVED. 5.1 Lease of 389 West St., Brantford (Fox Ridge) to Six Nations of The Grand River Long Term Care [Financial Impact: unknown], 2025-518 A. THAT Report 2025-518, Lease of 389 West St. Brantford (Fox Ridge) to Six Nations of the Grand River Long Term Care BE RECEIVED; and B. THAT Staff BE DIRECTED to prepare a lease agreement between The City of Brantford and The Six Nations of the Grand River Long Term Care based on the conditions outlined in Report 2025-518; and 3 C. THAT the Commissioner of Community Services and Social Development BE AUTHORIZED to execute the required agreement with Six Nations of the Grand River Long Term Care in a form satisfactory to the City Solicitor; and D. THAT the net proceeds received from an executed lease with Six Nations of the Grand River Long Term Care be used to offset Capital Project SS2409 (Phase 1 Purchase and Renovations of 389 West Street); and E. THAT the City Clerk BE DIRECTED to forward a copy of the final resolution and staff report to the County of Brant.
