A. THAT Report 2023-355 titled City of Brantford Situational Analysis and Retail Analysis BE RECEIVED; and B. THAT comments from the Economic Development, Tourism and Cultural Initiatives Advisory Committee BE

A. THAT Report 2023-347 titled “Subcommittee and Working Group Background and Appointments” BE RECEIVED; and B. THAT Witkor Kulinski BE APPOINTED to the Public Art Working Group; and C. THAT a Cultural and Built Heritage Funding Subcommittee (the “Funding Subcommittee”) BE CREATED as an official subcommittee of the Economic Development, Tourism and Cultural Initiatives Advisory Committee consisting of the following members: Stephanie Wall, Peter Muir, Christina Han, Jang Singh Panag and Ana Olsen; and D. THAT the mandate of the Funding Subcommittee be: i. to review all of the application materials, and then to utilize the program eligibility criteria and rating criteria to propose the grant allocations to eligible not-for-profit organizations. ii. to make a recommendation with respect to the proposed grant to the Economic Development, Tourism and Cultural Initiatives Advisory Committee and ultimately through to Committee of the Whole. 3
