THAT Items 4.1 and 5.1 BE APPROVED. The Task Force separated the Items for discussion purposes. 4.1 Development Building Process Review Terms of Reference L. Hives provided an overview of the terms of reference to the Task Force. These were drafted in response to Council direction to seek a consultant to lead Staff through the six sigma lean review process. Staff believe that six of the items under the terms of reference can be achieved for the $100,000 approved through Council. The final report 2 will include the current state of processes, future state, community input and the steps to accomplish this. The Committee discussed the various changes they would like to see to the Terms of Reference including the inclusion of reviewing the building permit process as this relates to many applications. The building permit process will be added to the terms of reference. Under the interview process, the Task Force would like a maximum of 20 individuals interviewed with the names provided by the Task Force and Staff. There was confirmation that the names of those interviewed will remain confidential. Councillors and the Mayor will also be included for the interview process. Staff confirmed that the consultant will review current processes and report back as well as suggest other changes. Staff clarified that the April meeting of the Task Force will be a midpoint review with summaries on the consultants findings. Staff were asked to ensure that all prior iterations of the Task Force b
