WHEREAS Chapter 15 of the City of Brantford Municipal Code establishes the composition of various Committees of the Whole and Standing Committees; and WHEREAS the Social Services Committee and Finance Committee are Standing Committees of City Council; and WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the City of Brantford is required by various statutes, by-laws, agreements and resolutions to appoint or recommend one or more Members of Council to various Committees, Boards and Task Forces; and WHEREAS Council, at its meeting held November 19, 2019, appointed Councillor Antoski to the Finance Committee and Councillor Carpenter to the Social Services Committee through By-law 179-2019; and WHEREAS Councillor Antoski and Councillor Carpenter have made a mutual decision that Councillor Antoski would like to be appointed to the Social Services Committee and Councillor Carpenter would like to be appointed to the Finance Committee; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT a by-law to amend Schedule A of By-law 179- 2019 to change the composition of the Social Services Committee and the Finance Committee to represent the above request BE PRESENTED to Council for adoption. 9 Recorded vote on Item 8.1: YES (11): Mayor Davis, Councillor Weaver, Councillor Vanderstelt, Councillor Utley, Councillor Sless, Councillor McCreary, Councillor Martin, Councillor Carpenter, Councillor Antoski, Councillor Van Tilborg and Councillor Wall
