4.1 Transfer of the Strategic Planning Department to the Office of the CAO to Establish a Corporate Initiatives Department [Financial Impact: None], 2019-557 B. Hutchings provided an overview of report 2019-557 and responded to various questions from Members of the Committee. Councillor McCreary inquired if future reports could have the staff names associated with the positions. Recommendation A. THAT Report 2019-557 Transfer of the Strategic Planning Department to the Office of the CAO to Establish a Corporate Initiatives Department BE RECEIVED; and B. THAT the Chief Administrative Officer BE DIRECTED to proceed with the staffing changes as outlined in Staff Report 2019-557 effective October 7, 2019.
