THAT all items for Consent (5.1 – 6.2) separated for discussion purposes BE APPROVED. The following items were discussed and voted on separately: 5.1 2027 Shared Social Services Budget [Financial Impact: $22,221,006 Operating Budget; $501,500 Capital Budget], 2026-365 A. THAT Report 2026-365, 2027 Shared Social Services Budget BE RECEIVED; and 3 B. THAT the base 2027 draft operating and capital Shared Social Services budgets as contained in Report 2026-365 BE APPROVED as follows: i. Base Operating budget totaling $21,975,724, representing a 6.50% increase including 389 West Street facility and Emergency Shelter; ii. Capital budget totaling $501,500; and C. THAT the following additional budget investments BE APPROVED: i. Addition of one (1) Manager of Housing Stability (Homelessness) totaling $151,737, representing an additional 0.74% increase; and ii. Addition of one (1) Maintenance Servicer totaling $93,545, representing an additional 0.45% increase; and D. THAT the City Clerk BE DIRECTED to deliver a copy of this report and the Committee’s recommendations to the County of Brant prior to October 1, 2026. Recorded vote on Ci: i.
